Stuff you can't believe you didn't know

Not obviously, its only 3 letters short.

reviver, rotator, deleveled. 3 words off the top of my head that are palindromes, 2 are equally as long, 1 longer. Deleveled isn't even a fancy word, so yeah, stating racecar is the longest is obviously wrong.

Obvious to you yes

This one is incorrect, though I believed it for years.

Coca cola was named after it's most important original ingredient .. cocaine.[/Q

if the nice people at coca cola didnt put dye in it, coke would be green!!

Pepsi was first called Brandons drink! fact

The colouring in todays coca cola is caramel, and would be clear if it wasn't there (Anyone remember Tab clear, tasted the same) The original coca cola was green due to the leaves of the coca plant.

Few movie factlets, first film to get a 12 certificate in the UK was 1989's Batman, first film to get a 12A was 2002's Spiderman. First film with a Dolby Digital soundtrack was Batman Returns, super heroes getting all the firsts.

Ohh Tab, remember that, twas OK but found it a bit more sickly (sweeter) than normal cola. Coca Cola is made from the parts of the Cocanie plant that isn't addictive (apparently ;) )

And yet from the "Non Student" bbfc website Spiderman classified 12A on 15/04/2002 and The Bourne Identity 24/06/2002, go figure. Case rested.

An article from the time the 12A certificate came in, talking about this issue and how Spiderman was being reclassified to take advantage of it, but that the first film to be released with a 12A certificate is The Bourne Identity.
The 12A didn't exist when Spiderman was classified or released.

Not true.

The tree falling would still produce sound waves.

Yes but the waves themselves don't actually make any noise.

It's only when they interact with something (i.e. your ears) that a noise is heard.

So if no one is there, there is no sound.

I went to the opening day of Batman. The cinema was packed, mostly of 9-10 year old girls wearing make up and high heels and 9-10 year old boys with earings in and their hair gelled up. It was quite strange.
