Never eaten Chinese!

They are quite tasty, just make sure you gag them before you cut them up so the neighbours don't hear the screams.

What are you talking about? The chickens mentioned by one peep or the waiters mentioned by others?:eek::eek:

(Runs off to check if Dennis Nilsen has been released.)

Exactly this! Everyone's tastes are different, I hate satay so much even the smell makes me heave but my other half loves it. How are we supposed to know what you find tasty. ;)

Agreed however there are some foods which appeal to the broader palate which I guess is what the OP is asking.

But as has already been said the idea behind these buffets is to try foods you normally wouldn't. Enjoy :p

Try everything xD
Avoid the rice and veg :p Get yer moneys worth of meat muhahah.

Depends what they do...
My usual faves...

Beef in black bean sauce
Kun Po Chicken (spelt differently on every menu Ive ever seen lol)
Salted chilli squid
crispy chilli beef (soo easy to make at home properly :) )

Dimsum is really nice and normally most places do a mixed selection, pork and prawn dumplings are lovely.

This, little parcels of delight.

As others have said, it's a buffet, fill your boots and try everything that looks/sounds good to you. :)

i usually have chicken slivers in szechuan pepper corn salt. they are well good. very garlicy though. the place i get em from put sliver of cooked garlic in too.

Boooo. Go in to a proper chinese restaurant and order real chinese.

You have more chance finding fish and chips in Hong Kong than crispy duck and pancakes. Roast duck is what you want. Suckling pig too. Sam siu fan has rice and three varieties of chinese roast. Duck, char shui and roast pork normally.

Well, its a buffet so you have an advantage.

Lap 1: A little bit of everything to see what you like.
Lap 2: Pile it up of what you liked on Lap 1

:)

haha..NO!
Chinese is far suprior to Indian in every single bloody way

Never! Lies! It's all lies! Lies I tell you!

You cannot defeat the onion bhaji! The poppadom with mango chutney and onion salad! How dare thee compare a prawn cracker to ones garlic and coriander naan!

Tiger beer!? My cobra will defeat your tiger!
