Worth it mate just buy it. The game has lasted me ages so far. Really wish I had bought the collectors edition for the ingame thor avatar ;-(

There are much better zergies than me on the forum, but i'm always happy to play practice games when i'm online :). Would be helpful for me certainly to repeatedly play with a practice partner for a bit, try to iron out the little bumps in my play.

nice well done- much similar to me - started with about 10/40 but now 145/130 or so and number 1 bronze on about 1600 points. Still sitting in bronze. was hoping for silver but no sign of it yet - almost all my opponents in last 40 or so games have been silver.

bonus is around 1000 for me as well.

Must admit I've been playing very little ladder 1 v 1's recently - enjoying the carnage of 4 v 4's more recently!!:D

Been using spreadshirt to make my own starcraft 2 t-shirts (if this is classed as an advert I will remove it)

Created them all in Illustrator, but you can only upload 3 vectors at a time and they have to be approved so only the 6 pool and the ladder one are vectors, rest are PNG created from vector

Doing this for the fun of it really, not the most skilled at Illustrator but getting better slowly.

I can do some practice games with you. My zvt is pretty weak. 2800 diamond I think.

Yeaaa switched to random :D. Different having to deal with 9 different matchups, but it's been interesting slowly bringing terran and zerg up to par with toss :o (still a long way to go with all 3 races tbh)..
 
Been laddering a bit since they added those new maps. Being a Gold scrub I've little idea how well they're balanced, but welcome the change anyway. They need to hurry up and add some GSL maps tho, as the pool is still poor.

I have recently found this thread and have been busy reading all 288 pages lol, i have been playing sc2 on and off for about 6 months, but recently i want to try and get good/better at it.

Even when i was not playing i was watching the day9 dailys, and most other vods and live streams so i think i understand the basics, but cannot get out of bronze. Addmittantly i have only been playing again for about 1 week and seem to win about 40%.

I feel like i am much better than when i started thanks to the mechanics video from day9, but i still dont win as much as i like and cannot move up to silver. Has bronze players got better since my long break (about 3 months).

Also is there still a database on this tread with all players names as i have no online friends to practice with.

There is plenty of OCuK people around to play just need to keep asking to find someone your level! What race you play? What you struggling with?

Also on a side note. Burrowed banelings are fricking awesome!
 
Oops i forgot to put i play terran, have played a bit of protoss in the past but not much, never played zerg. I seem to struggle with scouting tbh, i know how important it is but either forget or do it pitfully. I dont mind who i practice with even if i get mullered everytime :P its all learning. Thats why i started playing again i was worried about losing too much before now i think who cares its the only way i will improve.

Really the best way to practice is just ladder. Spend like 10 games making sure you are constantly making scv's. Another 10 games making sure you scout properly. Another 10 games making sure you dont get supply blocked. If you make sure you do them your just remember to do it.

Feel free to add me, I'm sure I've added my ID in this thread somewhere, if not I'll look it up if you want.
I work nights though so I usually play after midnight so this may not be ideal.

I'm also Bronze terran, but I'm improving, just focus on your macro and don't try anything too flashy to start of with... :)
 
if you could find your code and id that would be great, dont fancy searching the 288 pages again :P
Also i work shifts so it may be ideal, especially when i am working afternoons, i am normally up till about 3am
