Facebook Photos

One of the reasons I deactivated my account on FB.

And the fact that even if the photos were of any interest to anyone (for news, or generating money from rights etc) - the owner doesn't stand a chance in having them back (as Facebook has full rights to the images even after you deactivate your account - and they are all still saved on their servers)

If someone else posts them, then deactivating does nothing??

You could be person A with no social networking accounts. If person B posts them online, then they are for everyone to see.

It's him in a photo with a lady boy in thailand :O

:D most people didnt see that thread i bet mods pulled it to quick :(

basicly someone came on asking how to remove a photo from the internet because they didnt want people to see it lol.

someone quickly used google images and found the offending photo, a lady boy who might not even have been 18 and the ocuk member:eek:

Indeed was an absolutely epic thread :)

Welcome to the world of facebook. Where privacy has been thrown out of the window :)

There are some really good privacy options for Facebook. The best one you can apply is the "don't submit anything to Facebook you dont want other people to see" filter. It takes some grasping, but eventually people find it.

There is, unfortunately, no "stop your mates posting that picture of you, the monkey and a tube of haemorrhoid cream" filter.

He is still screwed. His other mates will still be tagged, so mutual friends will still see him playing hide the sausage with a 7' gorilla. All it will accomplish is non-mutual friends being unaware of it.

Nothing for it, you're going to have to unplug the internet.

Or, if that doesn't work then you could try reinstalling facebook.

:o

There's an even better one TBH, "Don't do anything you wouldn't want anyone to see...";)

If you're embarrased about it then it's probably something you shouldn't have done in the first place...

It isn't so much some stuff is embarassing but when you are pilled up and look like a madman it isn't always great when you have HR on your friends list.

But they are so hot, I couldn't resist adding them.

No, they don't.

I thought you could set your settings that other people cannot see pictures of you tagged by other people?
You can adjust your privacy settings to set who (if anyone) can see photos and videos you are tagged in; it's not possible to distinguish between those items that you tagged yourself and that other people did.
