Good nightclubs in Edinburgh.

To be honest we could spot you loads of pubs to go to, which are much better than the clubs and save you 30 to 40 mins of queuing up time, but when you get there and visit one pub the next pub you go to will end up being the one next door to it and then the one next door to that and so on. That's pretty much all that used to happen to me up there for a bout 2 and a half years anyway.

Grassmarket has always been the best nights for me. Such a great place, cheapish drinks and the people are generally a decent bunch.

OMG, Club Earth has a rep outside of Livingston! I used ot go years ago when it was called Zen. not been sicne it was club earth and a wee bit too old for that sort of establishment these days!

Nah I used to stay in Pumphy.

Not been to it in ages! Was always the same old people though.

SIGLO!

I've ended many a night in there. I remember very few details of any of them.

Think I ended up in Siglo. Can't remember though. Some wee scottish lass took me for a pizza afterward :p

Didn't care much for George Street. Went in Tigerlilly but it was full of posers and NO ONE seemed to be having a good time :p

I think I best described it as an art gallery... it's very pretty but full of ****s :D

Woot woot, Club Earth getting some love bleh :P

To get into it, you had to graduate from the nightspot! :P

Theres bugger all drinking in Princes street. George st is good but bloody expensive (except for the standing order which is a bog standard weatherspoons, cheap, loud n v busy!) If you actually like to TASTE your beer, the Guildford just round the back of Burger King at the east end of Princes st has an excellent selection. The Halfway House, at the other side of the station in Fleshmarket Close is very nice, if a bit wee. Dunno about clubs, but the cowgate has a few that are ok.
