Stress & Relaxation

OP, don't let this be you :

I go running or hit the gym. Both are very good for stress relief and making you feel good about things.

I only seem to get stressed in the car or when I'm in a rush....Which mostly involved the car. My relaxation method? Shout and swear at other motorists :p

Other than that I eat. I train pretty hard so ultimately my body is constantly requiring calories. Not enough, I get cranky and stressed. Eating calms me down!

magnolia I feel like Kirk Douglas in that movie at times!

I think I shall try and go for a little walk not long before I go to bed to unwind a little bit.

We don't have a steam room in our gym but have been in one a few times and it was very nice.

Also do love blade runner and there's a dnb track that has samples from the movie which I love, the actual movie sound track would be great to listen to as well.

First thing that come to my mind after a bad day is hitting the weights, then a run or a swim. Then music or movie. Followed by an early night to make sure it doesn't happen two days in a row.

I go out on my bike when i am annoyed, however the last time i went out due to the Mrs getting on my **** i came off and smashed my little finger, head and elbow.

No idea why this works so well but it was discovered by my ex that putting on The Bellamy Brothers "Let Your Love Flow" song would instantly perk me up & slap a smile on my face. Always cheers me up levels me & puts me in a positive mood.

This was prior it to be it being used by Barclaycard in the water slide advert btw.

Cook and drink.

Nothing better than after a hard week, get some mates round cook some stuff and drink a shed load of wine, with a few movies on the background. Although we usually chat straight through them.

Or a good music session, turn those speakers right up.

Man that sounds really steamy, can I come? :p

Yoga. My old man is a very stressful person and since starting yoga it's helped him a lot. I know some people believe its bull but it helped my dad out a lot. Yoga doesn't have to mean bending your leg over your shoulder, just starting simple breathing exercises can help.
