What sort of spider is this?

Big and fast.
Not poisonous, although if one bit you it would take a tidy chunk out of you. Chucking a boot at it doesn't work either, it just eats it...
I'd be fighting off temptation to break out the SA80's to sort them out!
They were great for target practice. A toss up between my l96 and a camel spider......the Spider lost everytime.....(so did a camel once but that's another story)

That's what my CO said, right before making me pay the owner for the price of a new Camel.
More than you'd expect, but I wasn't in a position to haggle him down.
It cost me about 600USD.

I got away with 6 months living in Thailand with nothing particularly taxing to deal with.
On the LAST night of my stay I stepped into the shower and was met by this on the wall in-front of my face:

Its centipedes in thailand you need to watch for, evil gits
And camel spiders are very interesting, not classed as a spider though, very aggresive

It's the small ******* you have to watch out for. Big is generally for show; small is Go Time (also, let's make humans crap themselves and perhaps die a horrible, painful death).

Camel spiders can apparently move at 10mph. That's faster than most people I know
