Works both ways though. India is very capable of chasing down some big scores, and has done so as well, but have also been loads of instances where they try and get ahead of the game really early on, start losing wickets, and just never stabilize.

We need someone like Dravid in the side again. Solid and stable who won't just throw his wicket away, but capable of getting the runs when needed. (though yes, Dravid did at times take way too long to get going and just wasted balls, but the benefit of someone like that far outweighs the negative).

He is an extremely solid player. Consistent and reliable. Plays as a finisher in the IPL often, but his best position for India is at 3 or 4. He's as dependable (if not more!) as Trott. Whenever he gets a start he usually converts it into the big scores, at a good strikerate

He's never lost a test series as captain. His ODI record is generally excellent too, just that India's being exposed this world cup
