Hmmm. Seems rather token.
The americans have two warships in the area with 90+ missiles on each.

The GR4 fires Storm Shadow cruise missles, 2 per aircraft i think, so around 8 of those fired lastnight.
Our partners, the Arab league are heavily involved with the military action that is being taken.
BBC said:The head of the Arab League appears to have criticised the severity of the bombardment.
RAF Coningsby on skynews, large aircraft about to take off.
I live near there!
My neighbour is in the RAF and he is currently deployed in Libya (I'm not sure doing what exactly, he works on a plane similar to the AWACS but it isn't that).
Coningsby is the Eurofighter HQ I believe?
We only fired 2?![]()

AA fire at the moment, what are they shooting at??
Are they just randomly firing and hoping to hit something?

Thin air, as per usual
yep.

Hmm, fair enough. Why would they waste ammo like that?
Because it might force Gaddafi to stop military action against the rebels and force him to the table for talks? If that happens regime change from a UN backed military point of view becomes a non-starter. As I said before, partioning of the country seems the most realistic option now, because the rebels even with UN air support won't be able to mount offensive operations to defeat Gaddafi's military. The worst that could happen is that you have rebels laying into Gaddafi controlled cities and getting the same condemnation that he himself has been getting for doing the same thing to the rebels. And as the guy from the Arab League pointed out, we would no longer be intervening to protect civilians but, would be the aggressor. How does all this action that is being taken work without regime change?
From the sea yes, we've done more damage from the air.
What should we have launched them from then?
Because what else are you going to use AA stations for?
To shoot down aircraft of course. But they are shooting at nothing?
Ah whoops. I didn't realise it was just from the sea.
It's just a randomly low amount compared to the total number.
It's like me turning up to a football match at the 85th minute and claiming i "watched the match".![]()
