*** Official FIFA 11 Thread ***

Right, I've got my two Spanish teams set up now, and I feel a little lost with what to do now. Here are the two teams I've got running, playing 4-1-2-1-2...

GK: Casillas / Valdes
RB: Dani Alves / Someone who's name I can't remember, pacey though
CB: Pique / Sergio Ramos (he's a god at CB, far too quick and strong for virtually any striker he's come against, may put him in my first team)
CB: Pepe / IF Lopo
LB: Marcelo / Felipe
CDM: Xabi Alonso / Lassana Diarra
LM: Di Maria / Diego Capel
RM: Jesus Navas / Cani
CAM: Kaka / Ozil
ST: Villa / Higuain
ST: Forlan / Benzema

Can't really see any way of improving the team now without spending huge amounts of coins, which I don't have (only have 30k or so). Tempted to save up and get Ribery on that left side but not sure what he'll do to the team chemistry. He's only 50-60k so it wouldn't take me too long to save up for him.

Any suggestions on how to improve the team?

Do you really need a "same league but not so good" team?

I'd rather take the value of them and invest it into something like Fitness/Morale cards?

I'm all for having subs form that league, but a 2nd team that you really won't want to use as they're not as good as your other team?

If that floats your boat, then good, but I just couldn't build a second almost knowingly sub standard one, just so I don't have to buy a fitness card every now and again?
 
Bought Messi last night, really enjoyed him :) Then bloody Andy lent me Ronaldo, love him more, sold Messi this morning for a profit now lookin to buy Ronnie, whats a realisticly good bargain price? Really not looking to pay 670+k

I like my Spanish 2nd string team. I only need to use them every 4 or 5 games when fitness drops below 90 for all my players, and they're handy in a pinch if anyone ever gets an injury (which is getting more common the better I get, as I tend to encounter sore losers). Besides, they were all fairly cheap so they wouldn't get me a huge amount of coins if I sold off the ones I wouldn't keep anyway. They're a good team as well, I've played 3 and won 3 with them, defeating teams with generally much better players.
 
Any suggestions as to how i can improve my PL team, only got 13k coins but still:

G. Johnson..Carra....Agger.....Baines

Nani.....Milner.....Meireles...Malouda
.............Dzeko......Suarez

Subs:
Hart, Dunne, Zabaleta, A.Johnson, Lucas, Kuyt, Lennon

Was thinking Meireles for someone a bit more solid defensively like Y.Toure ?

What rating is Milner?

edit, also, Vermaelen for Agger? Lemme know if you like him and I can give you a bargain price :P
 
Vermaelen is a good call, I'd also look at Kompany in for Carra to get more pace into that back line. And personally I think G.johnson sucks so would have rafeal/micah richards at rb if going cheap.

Definitely someone with a bit of pace to replace Carragher. I've played against him a few times and I've torn him a new one every single time, he's just far too slow and a chipped ball over the top is usually enough to do him in when going up against any quick striker.

I have a Vermaelen, 5-2-1-2, 26 contracts. I'd do him for 1k.
