How often do you post a facebook status?

Once or twice a day, more at the weekends but then I am looking after the companies facebook/twitter/blog/website

I don't use facebook for myself.

i had a friend who decided to post the dates, weight, +xyz days and birth type (natural etc) of her three children the other week followed by 'post this as your status if you are proud mother'

Never unless posting 'My band is playing at such and such tonight' is a status.

I can't do with the 'I'm just taking the dog for a walk' or 'I'm just driving home from work' statuses.

I view it quite a lot, see what people are up to. I am nosey like that. But myself updating my status, just every now and again really.

Usually once every couple of weeks or even a month.

However, last year I went on a 3 week trip to Asia and I had this travel phone with me that posts updates on Facebook whenever you change locations. Really cool......however it was posting updates every time I so much as went to the bog! Almost all my "friends" got sick of the spam so they blocked my feed. When I posted a few weeks ago that I was going to be a dad, I only had a couple of people say anything

Don't really care though, all my REAL friends knew before I even posted on FB

If I do get around to using it I'd probably update at least once a day, I like hearing the sound of my own voice

A few times a week. It probably increases during certain events like big (football) sports games or during the holidays when i go out more and have more to say!

Usually about once a day. I tend to post music videos fairly often too which replaces the update.
