March in London on the 26th?

And all of what you think is wrong with the country - what are YOU doing to fix it? Or do you just vote for someone and hope they'll do what they said they would do?

Voted for the correct party last year and am keeping my head down with work.

Travelling to central London to go wreck a ton of public property and waste police time didn't even cross my mind.

Working out a future plan that involves emigrating. Because marching around London won't fix anything - the problems with this country are not the fact the current government is having to make cuts.

Yeah, I saw that from the ACAS office at the top of Euston Tower - awesome :-)

Ok, I REALLY am going out now, I've got 10 impatient protesters outside my hotel room door - wouldn't want to upset them!

I have to say, I look forward to the inevitable outbursts from commie 18 year olds that end up smashing the windows of multi national corps and police men being assaulted. It will turn even more of the public against trade unions and the 'demonstrators'.

They grew up being spoon fed by a Labour gov. Cut them some slack. They're special ;)

I don't recall there being a 'Con-Lib Conglomerate' on the ballot sheet?

Maybe if you spent as much time learning how the electoral system works as you do railing against authority over the internet you'd have realised it was the most likely outcome of the election and an entirely legitimate one at that.

Do you guys honestly think anyone cares about your march? Do you think you'll do ANYTHING tommorrow other than cost the taxpayer money in policing it?

Fox has summed it up. Anyone who cares about politics, as you obviously do. Could have predicted this. The conservatives probably weren't going to get enough votes for a majority. Clegg said he would back the person with the most votes... Errr?

200,000 obviously do and the associated trade union members who can't attend for whatever reason do as well.

Do you think you'll do ANYTHING tommorrow

yes

other than cost the taxpayer money in policing it?

So protests should be stopped just because it costs money to police? Plus, they can police it lightly and bring the cost down if they so desire.

If you're so against it, why not organise a counter march? As far as I can tell, there isn't a counter march - no real support for "opposition" to the march by chance?

Yes. I expect right wing loonies on an internet forum who will never act on their views care because it scares them that people would have the guts to actually do something (at any rate, you obviously care enough to post about it).

I expect the government will care as it is an important turning point in the movement, and any talk of rebellion is bad (see Peterloo Masacre, Tolpuddle Martyrs etc.) - nobody rules if nobody obeys.

And i expect the people to care as they see hundreds of thousands of people fighting on their behalf, as they start to understand that there is an alternative, they don't have to suffer and there is something they can do about it.

I'm pretty sure that this protest, like the student ones, will have no effect on the governments decisions. So yeah, it kinda is a waste of time but I'd be a hypocrite if I told you not to go!
