you won't be the only one to have made the same mistake before the day is out. Its annoying really that the box doesnt say "iPad 2" the same way that it does on the iphone for example. Its obviously going to follow the ipod naming conventions with 1st gen, 2nd gen etc.. making it really difficult to work out what generation of device a seller is offering unless they explicitly state 4th Gen etc..

depends if its an iphone and ipad app or an iphone app

Look in the apps section of itunes and it will tell you which is which.

Managed to bag 9 iPads between Indian Food and Purples' online (at 4:59, I guess while everyone was queuing at the Apple stores?). Should resell to more than cover the cost of my own purchase

Arriving in 3-5 days though

What competitors?

I'll use £650 of the profits to cover the cost of my own, then the rest goes to charity. I try do this as much as possible whenever a new Apple device comes out. In fact, ever since the iPhone 3GS I have always at least covered the cost of my Apple goodies.

I'm fine with taxing fools who are easily parted with their money!

Manged to get mine from Apple Bluewater, queued up at 4.45pm and got home at just after 7, still a lot of people to go when I left!

Went for the 64gb black WiFi.

Same time... 4:45pm and got inside at 7:10pm at Bluewater. Were you in front of me? Cos there was a guy who was infront of me who got 64gb WIFI....

No... it seems not... you are the same age... the guy infront of me was a teenager and was ordering his parents about whilst he was in the line....

Anyway, hope you enjoying your purchase. Most of my apps have gone onto IPAD (no repurchasing), but I've downloaded a lot of IPAD specific apps. Just wish Facebook had an official IPAD release out soon.

Went to the istore in Ipswich this afternoon started to queue at 4.00 at 6.05 I walked out with a black 32gig wifi & smart cover really pleased with the baby, nice and nippy compared to my first gen iPad .
