***** The Crysis 2 Thread *****

Getting a fixed 30 FPS with everything high and with crossfire disabled, not bad tbh, at least i can play it.

I'm getting a bit bored of it now. Can only play in small chunks.

Exactly the same feeling.

I'm still only about 2hrs in, if that... I got to a point last night, quit out to send an e-mail.

Fired up the original Crysis for old times sake (got it free with pre-order), and ended up spending 3hrs playing that instead :o

oh dear

yes, an urban shooter can become extremely repetative after a while, especially if you're stuck in NY all the time

i wont buy this game until i've read all the reviews, after all; they buggared up the 1st game didn't they and i still cant understand how they ruined the last 1/3rd so badly..... it looks like they became bored and lost focus/ art direction

Don't forget according to reviews it takes atleast 5HRS before it becomes interesting or atleast the proper awesomeness kicks in

Some people complete it in like 7 hours.
I just finished Crysis 1 and warhead on delta..
Turned on Crysis 2 on the hardest difficulty.. What utter tripe it is..

yeah I'v just got to this stage, the immersion definitely increases at this point.
Playing through on veteran and enjoying it however the AI issues seriously dampen the experience... worst was having an enemy spawn right in front of me, moments after killing the same enemy in the same spot...
(i think its an issue with cleanup after reloading at checkpoints) this has occurred on two occasions:(.

It's a good looking game by todays standards imo, but some areas look noticeably worse than others, same with the multiiplayer maps.

I've got to the bit where you meet up with some soldiers and they keep yelling 'Move Up, Go!'.

But this yelling keeps on going for, well so far about 20 minutes and it's driving me mad

Does this ever stop? Is it a bug? It's making the game unplayable :(

Restarting the game doesn't help and i cannot go back to a previous..... because there aren't any bloody saves!

MP needs fixing ASAP.

most people cant even play becuase they get an error about serial in use. I finally managed to get in a game and then the game doesnt start even though the lobby is full. When i finally get in a game its was good fun i must admit.

There are hackers already and apparently pirates can play the MP right now :(

My trusty old 8800GT is running this fine on "advanced" setting @ 1920x1080, unexpected! I was planning on an upgrade but I think I will hold off for now. Enjoying the game too, I preferred the setting in Crysis, but this is great fun anyway :D I think the sounds are great too, the distant gunfire and things sounds very realistic

Some of you lot complaining are pathetic. It looks just as good at the first, actually I find some of the city scenes to look fantastic and far beyond the detail found in the first game.

***Stop with the insults***. I bet if this was a PC exclusive and looked exactly the same as it does now you wouldn't be so critical.

Oh and it's much more of a game than the first. That was a dull game and I don't care what anybody says. It wasn't good, it was hardly open at all and it lacks the action this game has.

There's still multiple ways to do things in this game and routes to take. Not as many as the first but so what? At least it's less dull.

You're more annoying to listen to than CoD fanboys.

The singleplayer aint that bad but the AI is really really bad, no amount of times have i been spotted when hiding behind something, and them staring at me for like 30 seconds before opening fire etc, to many bugs with it to mention
