The sooner someone within his inner circle steps up and puts a bullet in Gaddafi the better - if his forces keep on trying to hold onto power the whole thing will turn into a blood bath by the time the rebels get to Tripoli.

Not only can we deliver democracy via the warhead section of a TLAM we can be certain that when the "Rebels" take control they will not rape, murder, supress people who do not agree with them. We know this, even though they are drawn from the same population as the people on the other side.

Its OK. The government tell us that Gadaffi has to go. They don't tell us what is going to replace him, because they don't know. They may spend the next few years purging and settling scores, but thats OK too. At least Gadaffi will be out of the picture.
