My housemates forced me to do it. Didn't really work since they're convinced it was to save power, not raise awareness. I'm the only one in the house with an energy saving light bulb. /sigh

Ah yes, the "raise awareness" thing.

Is there anyone who wasn't aware of environmentalism before last night's earth hour blather?

Why is it that awareness only needs raising about things that everyone is already extremely aware of?

Instead of switching off our lights why don't we do something constructive and invest in space exploration. That way once we wreck this planet we can move on to Earth v2.0.
