all I would say is if you think Crysis II looks bad, you must not play many games.
also have just proved that pleasing is absolutely impossible, Crytek have been and always will be in the PC communities eyes, damned if they do, damned if they don't. crying about the lack of DX11 just speaks volumes about the sort of people they are trying to avoid by going more toward the console market, so yeah PC gaming is dying, know why...? take a look in the mirror people...
welcome to reality, get used to it or lump it, simple as that really.
Edit: remember all we heard about the original game was it was terrible, it didn't run properly, it was 'unplayable' because the frame-rate wasn't 60 frames/second and all that rubbish. also how the story, the plot, the aliens were all terrible and the best part of the game is running around the woods chasing Korean soldiers. then the complaints about how Crysis II (set in the middle of a modern day city may I add) is 'too grey and brown', completely missing the whole fact cities are in-fact very grey and very brown, hell go to a city and have a look around, be shocked by the lack of 'lush tropical colours'. love how so many people are missing some of the true merit of Crytek's latest offering and outright slating it for the pettiest little things, who cares that its actually a pretty decent game since it doesn't push my NVIDIA GTX 590 to the utter limit and makes me computer run at 95*C (the other 90% of people complaining about how it doesn't run well, its 'too demanding'). makes me actually glad I don't call myself a 'PC Gamer' any-more, just think of myself as someone who enjoys computer games, I for one applaud Crytek completely.
