Right, got a date with an outrageously hot girl in a couple of weeks via a dating website, looks like she's really into horses having checked out her profile.

I know nothing about them besides the obvious - 4 legs and long faces. How do I brush up on my equine knowledge between now and then? Is there an idiots guide to horses for guys who want to impress pretty, horse-riding girls?

You'll impress her more by being rich rather than knowing about horses. Most girls who have them aren't fanatics but rather riding them because of daddy.

I disagree with that comment entirely. If you think its easy keeping a horse at stables, think again! My sister has one, and both parents work to help keep it. She works hard with it, and its a serious commitment, has to be tended to morning and night. Everyone is different, but its surprising how many families make a big sacrifice to keep one!

Best off not brushing up on any equine knowledge. You will just bungle it up. Best to ask a few questions and get her to teach you. By all means, read a few basics, but let her tell you. Just be sincere and don;t pretend to care. They can tell . . . .

Oh, all I know is the difference between a pony and a horse isn;t the breed, its the physical height (14 hands something I believe).

Horses mean she is rich or broke.

Reason been the average cost of keeping a horse per year is about £4000. If she has more than one, it can get evry expensive.

Either she earns well or her family is wealthy.

Horses consume vast amounts of her time.

She will need to be up early to feed, muck them out and also spend an hour or so early evening as well.

She can;t go away for weekends without finding somebody to look after them, holidays are even more difficult unless she is in the rich catagory in which case she can pay for somebody to look after them

Plus points is that she will be fit and have thigh muscles which can crush a walnut.

She may prefer been on top and chances are she will have lost her vrginity and had her first orgasm with a horse*

* this may not all be true
