Have Seagates drives got better now as every one I've had in the past have been quite loud and not lasted too long either, hence why now I stick to Samsung and Western Digital.

From what I've read, early revisions had a bug in their firmware 'locking' the disk. Always worth checking on the part number to be sure.

That's if you want it of course. Brings your current budget down and release funds for better things, and stock 2500K is already very fast.

I don't take overclocking 'that' seriously

It's nice if stock speed becomes a limiting factor or it's too noisy, but I'd always still keep it as an option. H67 + 2500 would still be a no-go.

Never overclocked before and would like to see how it goes so will go for this cooler just to be on the safer side

Still have around 95 pound of the budget left and considering an SSD. This is going to take longer than i expected
