New build: Gaming rig - Advice needed.

Have Seagates drives got better now as every one I've had in the past have been quite loud and not lasted too long either, hence why now I stick to Samsung and Western Digital.

Hmm, Could stay at stock clocks until available what would the benefits be though? :p With this cooler i still in budget at 605 :)

That's if you want it of course. Brings your current budget down and release funds for better things, and stock 2500K is already very fast.

I don't take overclocking 'that' seriously :) It's nice if stock speed becomes a limiting factor or it's too noisy, but I'd always still keep it as an option. H67 + 2500 would still be a no-go.

From what I've read, early revisions had a bug in their firmware 'locking' the disk. Always worth checking on the part number to be sure.

Will look into it, Could just change to a different make. Thanks :)

Never overclocked before and would like to see how it goes so will go for this cooler just to be on the safer side :p Still have around 95 pound of the budget left and considering an SSD. This is going to take longer than i expected :)
