From what I've read, early revisions had a bug in their firmware 'locking' the disk. Always worth checking on the part number to be sure.
That's if you want it of course. Brings your current budget down and release funds for better things, and stock 2500K is already very fast.
I don't take overclocking 'that' seriouslyIt's nice if stock speed becomes a limiting factor or it's too noisy, but I'd always still keep it as an option. H67 + 2500 would still be a no-go.
