Who's joining the queue for iPad 2 on Friday then?

Mine was delivered today, plugged it in to charge and can see little bits of light bleeding the whole way round, not as bad as some of the pictures's i've seen. Will see how it looks when in use but if they are going to acknowledge the fault then I'll be looking at getting it swapped once they've sorted the issue out.
 
Mine only has two VERY minor bleeds at the bottom, it took a good inspection to find them, so im not worried about that at all really.

Looks stunning in white.

My two backlight bleeds are only just noticeable on max brightness on a black screen, at mid brightness (what I have it on) you cant see them. Happy days! :D

quick question, I have a bunch of wtf movies I have recorded on media centre and was wondering if there is any way to convert these to iPad friendly formats?
 
Or use that convert on the fly software if you have a decent CPU in the media centre. Works pretty well I find, AirVideo it is called.

Edit: As far as I'm aware from Version 2.4.5 it supports WTV files. But that might still be a Beta. Worth a try though. It also does standard conversions as well as on the fly ones.

Downloaded beta of air video and it is fantastic! Streaming is such good quality and I have the option to convert the movie, brilliant!!
See when you double tap the home button and it birings up sll the apps you have opened, is there anyway to clear that? Just looks a bit messy :p

Well it's the 'multi tasking' so no, you have to go through each app and close it

Hold down the icon till it shakes and press the 'x' (on the recently opened apps tab)

If its the same as the iPhone then you can hold your finger on an app in that list till it shakes as if you were going to delete it but a stop sign appears instead of an x and you can tap it to exit the app. That said if you keep scrolling, every app on my iphone is in that list so its not just running ones.
 
I think I've just managed to order a 64gb Wi-Fi in black from my local Apple store for collection tomorrow. Let's wait and see how this one fails to materialise!
 
I bought mine yesterday from an, erm, asteroid, shop in Bury St Edmunds. Heard some people say that this particular shop hadn't sold out because they didn't sell the original iPad. Anyway turned out they had 3 left so I nabbed a 16gb wifi. Typing this on it :)

I got the 2 year warranty on it too. He said its much better than AppleCare. Is this true? As if not I have a month to cancel.
 
When it hit 9pm the Apple Reserve lagged like mad and kept timing out. On the odd few occasions I got through the 'Select' button didn't work lol.

Unbelievable demand for this.

I was having the exact same problem. Felt like throwing my keyboard through the window each time the session timed out but got there in the end when I'd pretty much abandoned any hope of reserving one.
