It's just good practice I suppose, see if you can get hold of a 7600GT.
I used to use a pencil on mine to rise the vcore up. A multimeter would probably be useful too so you can measure how many ohms you are at - so you can then reduce the chance of you frying the card.![]()

Multimeters are for Pu$$ies/serious people and i need a psu before i get a 7600gt![]()

wait what? 80% overclock?! thats like getting my cpu to almost 6ghz :s
Im pretty sure ur cards capacitors would go POP if you put in anywhere near enough volts to get that XD
But it didnt!!!XD its still a little insane though you gotta admit, far beyond the realms of my imagination, capacitors would surely pop taking that much voltage to make that overclock even viable?

I know they are seriously oc'able cardsi can quite believe that on a gpu of that generation. I already mentioned i managed a 60% overclock on an x200 onboard gpu, and that was on stock cooling and voltage-limited by the bios (didnt bother hard modding it). the x200s and 300's were quite conservative with their clocks. tis nothing like gpu's of today.
if only...Slap your mum in the face, tell her, you getting a job and coming to Ocuk to spec a rig, and shes gonna shut the hell up while you do it.
No. they're for people who know what they are doing and don't want to break their hardware.
But hey, lets all take advice from someone who broke thier psu for the sake of modding an x300.
my mam wont let me have a job untill am like 15/16
And howcome you're not just using your 360 like people suggested and not replying to 'em?
