Horses

Are you creeping up behind the horses and scaring them or are your missus' horses just spectacularly bad tempered? I worked at a stables over the weekends for a few years and somehow didn't get kicked, I got my toes trodden on a fair bit and nipped once or twice but none of them ever seriously tried to kick me. Although it wouldn't completely surprise me if they have picked up on your dislike and reciprocated it.

Twice they have got me and tried for more and missed. Once was her thoroughbred ex racehorse which was a bad tempered witch. My gf had me posing holding a stephoscope for a photo she needed for work and the horse just wiped round and gave me both barrells and caught me at the top of my inner thigh missing my jewels by an inch!

Another time I was feeding them all and was leading one horse to her food trough and I thought I was far enough away from the 17.2 hand stallion who had his head in his trough but as we were passing he let loose with both barrels trying to fend off the other horse to be fair but got me right on me hand.

A few other times they have tried to kick but always they are really going for another horse and not me.

The worst one was the thoroughbred though. One evening when she was out working I had to bring her in and next doors neighbours dogs started barking and she just kept rearing up and trying to do my head in.

Tell her that Horse-meat is relatively low in fat and high in iron. A 100-gram (3 1/2 ounces) serving of cooked, roasted meat contains 175 calories; 28 grams protein; 6 grams fat; 5 milligrams iron; 55 milligrams sodium; and 68 milligrams cholesterol.

old man once said this to me :D

dg , you dont like horses do you ?

i replied nah not really (my dads thing)

good cause all they do is eat and **** money :p

you will always be second best to a horse with a lady owner ;)

Sadly being able to buy horses is what horse girls are into :)

Aye.

From the OP I assume you've never even ridden mates horses? You're ****ed TBH.

Horsey types are usually very snotty towards non-horsey types, and if you've never even sat on one you're just ****ed.

My experience has been that most horsey types are snotty to everyone.

My gf hates that most people in to horses are stuck up *****

I guess I'll have to wait and see. She's an "internationally qualified riding instructor" but she's into the usual girl stuff too by the looks of things.

She told me she was fussy about guys a few days ago, I replied saying that it didn't bode well since I have a wonky eye, a limp, I'm missing teeth and I have an oddly high-pitched voice - and I've not heard from her in a few days so I might have screwed it up anyway!

Darn my sarcastic sense of humour...

I've got to say that my personal experience with "horsey" girls is a lot different to others posting in this thread.

My partner ownes a horse (and co-ownes another with a friend) and she isn't the slightest bit snotty or stuck up and is a good, down to earth Yorkshire lass.

Most of her friends are the same too.

I think is a rash generalisation. My gf isn;t stuck up or snotty and neither are a few of her horsey friends. However, they are several who are OTT and so snotty and "posh". It;s worse at shows.
