Hi all.
I just picked myself up a Seagate Barracuda 2TB drive.
I've got it in a USB caddy at the mo but plan to add it internally once I know it's all working fine.
I'm running Windows 7 x64 Pro
I went into diskmgmt and I got the little window popup about mbr and gpt.
Following the recomendation for large drives I selected gpt.
I then formatted the drive and created a simple volume. (I called it BIG DISK)
So now my diskmgmt looks like this..
All looks good, I thought.
But when I go into My Computer to actually access the disk or try to put data on it, it doesn't appear..
And If I right click on the drive in diskmgmt the Open and Explore options are greyed out.
Is there a simple step that I've missed here?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Giz
