I don't beleive you.

Not just the way you drive. But how often you drive, how far, and for what reason.

Lets say for example that you personally somehow wouldn't use anymore petrol / diesel than you do now. This is not the case for the vast majority, so my point still stands.

I wouldn't use more either, mainly because I go wherever I want in my car now, I wouldn't drive about just to use more fuel. I think this is true of a majority of people.

That would be pointless. It is only people on tight budgets that may use more.

Hmm.

Probably correct actually. If the your budget does not limit you at all in that department, then why should it make a difference.

Having said that, I'm sure there are many people who are limited by it. Although not the majority like I said earlier. I was also considering the fact that many people don't just like driving A-B, but they drive because they enjoy it.

Also, another point could be that people would not hesitate to purchase a 10L monster of a car, where as with the prices high, they do.

People may buy bigger engined cars, maybe. Although with a Range Rover Sport, and an ST220, I'd be hard pushed to find something less efficent.:p

The thing with peoples budgets is that people rarely budget their fuel consumption, they buy less food, or cut back on eating out, drinking, clothes etc first.

However, I am sure there are people who cut short journeys due to fuel costs, just not that many.

People buy the amount of petrol that they need to use, people dont just buy petrol and have baths with it and cover there gardens with petrol .... then again setting the garden on fire might not be a bad idea brb petrol station :D

Not always the case. Many many people enjoy driving.

Talk about after the horse has bolted.

Ministers past and present have been criticised over the UK's export of weapons to regimes in Africa and the Middle East.

The cross-party Committees on Arms Exports Controls accused ministers of "misjudging" the risk that the weapons might be used for internal repression.

Countries recently sold UK arms include Libya, Egypt and Bahrain.

But the government, which has revoked arms licences to several countries, said its safeguards were "robust".

As recently as last year, the UK approved arms exports to regimes that have used force to confront popular uprisings.

Ammunition and tear gas were sold to Libya, with sniper rifles, sub-machine guns and CS grenades exported to Bahrain. Parts for armoured vehicles and weapons also went to Egypt.

Robust?

bet they dont get the same rates gaddafi got either he was quite shrewd with his oil and set a new standard model where more money went to the actual country, something all the other oil countries followed

Rebels making there first oil shipments for you idiots that believe we're really doing it for to liberate the people of libya.

If we had shutup and done nothing we would have been getting oil from Gaddafi ages ago.

The price of petrol doesn't affect my driving in the slightest. Obviously if it was cheaper I'd have more money left for other ****, but I wouldn't use any more petrol.

Same for me tbh.

lol.... just lol...

why dont they issue arrest warants for the other countries that were and still are actively killing protestors?

and why do none of these news websites like the bbc that showed a bunch of civilians running in which is aparently miserata when gunfire was heard and claiming it was gaddafi's forces killing civlians...

i suspect it was only people getting out of what was quickly becoming a warzone.

im gonna email the bbc and ask why they dont show the videos of the rebels beheading the pro gaddafi forces , hanging the gaddafi forces upside down with bags over their heads etc...

funnily enough non of the news sites are showing what happens to the captured pro gaddafi forces.

the worst outcome for the world is if the rebels come to power they are fanatical freaks who may aswell be a terroridst group go seek out some of the videos the news sites dont show.

some of the sickest crap you will ever see
