Fairly similar to my rig, you got the E6300 oc'd? if it is id say yes it will run, but only when they sort out the performance issues it has at the moment, if it aint overlocked you will struggle i think, 1.83 standard the e6300 is i think.
 
Yeh, my E6600 and 8800GTS 640Mb version runs it ok on lower settings, it's just the stutter that kills it.
 
Should be fine, as i say once the performance is sorted, mine is at 3.2ghz and a 512mb 4850 and im getting around 25 fps at present, so hopefully the patch will increase that slightly and get rid of the stutters completley.
 
lets hope they make the game able to run on all cores and the FPS will go up heaps. Maybe sli support wouldnt go astray either. Why wasn't this implemented in the first build?

Can't wait to play this but not buying the game till its fixed :/
 
I said I would wait until its been optimized but could not wait and I've just bought it

After playing for an hour, I could not for the life of me figure out how to lower the landing gear. There is "Toggle undercarriage" which I mapped but didn't seem to do anything?

Also are anyone's controls they have mapped disappearing?

I'm impressed so far though :)

I dont no if it's a glitch but when I put my landing gear down, then switch to external view, the landing gear then retracts back up and I have no control over my plane. Very wierd :confused:

I've found I need to press G twice for it to work :(

Known bug, apparently fixed in the first patch.
 
I don't know why but other fighters seem to out run and out maneuver me it's like i am sitting target :(

My rpm in the spitfire like 24-30s it seems slows and when i let the AI take over it started using afterburners then the plane got some proper speed lol.

I can't see afterburners key button anywhere?

I'm sure these small things will get patched.

I'm just getting used to everything, familiarizing myself with the controls at the moment. It's the stutter that kills the game for me. FPS are ok at medium settings
 
Just bought the game and the furthest I have been is the menu:mad:.

When I load the game from steam I get the target symbol, then I get a 'Launcher has stopped working' message. when I click on 'Close the program', the game continues to boot up.

When I try to start a campaign or one of the missions, the loading screen comes up with 'Launcher has stopped working' again, except when I close it this time, it does indeed close and goes straight to the desktop.

Now I know it is full of bugs, but you guys can at least play it, is there a fix for this or am I just going to have to wait for one?

Tbh its either your not giving it enough throttle or a bug

have you tried the old favorite of run as administrator.
Also can you run your config or edit the bugger might be a conflict in their

Despite the problems, I am loving this game - so much so I rushed upstairs after dinner to play for 30 minutes :D

My only problem (other than the stutter), is hitting anything. Normally I'm a fairly decent shot in a flight sim, but I can't hit a bloody barn door :(
 
Abraxaz1 Well the AI can use afterburners cheating sods lol i try get a picture :)

I gave it max throttle so not sure maybe that german plane the bf109 i think just better speed :)
