I have a few pics of house shows I went to back in 2003,2006 and 2009 uploaded somewhere. I was about 5 rows back for each event. Only problem I had was when wrestlers went outside the ring. Was hard to see what was going on. Plus, you are pretty much eye level with the top of the ring apron. Maybe an elevated view would be better.

I was thinking how wm27 could have ended better. IMO, its probably the worst ending of any mania.

This is how I would have booked.

Have Cena and Miz have their match bla bla bla bla stuff happens.

Rock comes out after the match is a draw... talks to the laptop, restarts the match. Cena/Miz get back in the ring.. then the rock gives Cena a rock bottom, leaves the ring, starts walking up the ramp, miz goes for the pin, Cena kicks out, Rock looks back with a shocked look on his face... runs back down to the ring, gives Cena another Rock bottom... but while Rock is giving Cena a rock bottom, Miz gets up and waits for the rock to stand up, Miz then gives rock his face plant finisher thing, rock is out, cena is out, miz is standing and pins cena for the win. Miz then grabs his belt and walks up the ramp. Rock and Cena are still out... 40-60 seconds later... they then both get up, stare each other down epicically while the arena chants (cena, rocky,cena,rocky ect)... Cena then falls to the corner of the ring because he is wasted from his match.. Rock see's that Cena is too beat up to start a brawl, leaves the ring and says he will see him tomorrow on raw.

That makes everyone look strong. Cena kicked out of two rock bottoms, Miz put one over on the rock and retained his belt.

I think any wrestling fan can book better than wwe creative.

If Cena kicked out of the Rock Bottom I would have stopped watching WWE

yea but its wrestlemania, everyone kicks out of finishers. Remember Rock vs Austin in 2001, Rock kicked out of like 3 stunners.

Yes, but this is Cena ... the one guy who is superman all year round anyway.

Him losing for once is a WELCOME change. He already gets booed, if he kicked out of a Rock Bottom he'd get booed even more - yet he is supposed to be the FACE of the company ...

He really needs a Hogan-esque heel turn

A face vs face WM28 is not going to work, fans are not going to accept Rock going in as a heel either. The only way to make WM28 work, and to make a Cena victory be worthwhile / credible (if they want to pass on the so called torch) is to have Cena be a full blown heel by then.

It will be face vs face like it was when Cena went up against HHH and HBK... Plus, Rock/Hogan was face vs face as well.

Rock/Hogan at WM18 was not face/face

Hogan was still NWO and thus still heel

Says the wwe but there was just as much Hogan chants as there were Rock chants... and then at the end of the match Hogan became face(storyline face).

Hogan always got cheered though, even in WCW with NWO

But going into the match Hogan was heel, he and NWO had attacked Rock and Austin a number of times

EDIT: The Boos Cena gets are not heel boos though, they are more ... you are boring boos

They should have had Taker/Triple H end the show, that way there wouldn't be a problem with how the Cena/Miz match ended

At first he didn't get cheered when he turned heel and formed the NWO. He got crazy heat. It was only after some time people started cheering him then he went face again.

Remember Orton vs Sheamus? That was heel vs heel but quickly became face vs heel after all the Orton chants. After that match, Orton became face.

Other face vs face matches at mania

Hogan vs Warrior WM 6
Bret vs Shawn WM 12
Shawn vs Flair WM 24
and
Rock vs Cena WM 28 (possibly)

I was hoping for that as well. Miz proved he can't main event. He just isn't that big of star to main event mania. Undertaker is turning out like old snake.. Just won't die.

The only recent major match to be face/face is HBK/Flair and that is because both are legends and it was Flair's retirement match

Forgot that the Taker/HHH match was also face vs face.. so, I guess that is the most recent face vs face match.

How were they tweener? HBK and Taker have both been faces in both of their mania matches.

I think wwe is just a little bit more vague with making wrestlers faces or heels these days. Back in the 80/90s, faces and heels were easy to seperate.

The only way to know who is face these days is to see who shows up back stage when someone is being put into the back of an ambulance.

Face/Face = someone/something else puts them in this match, be it the GM, Mr McMahon, winning RR

Tweener = has something to prove in a match (such as HBK & HHH vs Taker), may even have some heelish actions (as HBK did vs Taker)

Heel = no explanation needed really

a morally ambiguous wrestler, neither a bad guy or good guy (an inbetweener).[1] This term is also used to describe wrestlers who use tactics typically associated with heels (e.g., cheating), yet are still cheered by fans in spite of (or because of) these antics. The term is also used to describe wrestlers that remain popular, even though they are actually heels.
