costco is awsome!

name + address. I only get a handful for me to share so next 2 people to hit my trust only im afraid. Have fornowagain's already.

If you shop there quite often it's pretty easy to earn your membership back. If you become an executive member you earn 2% on what you spend throughout the year. IIRC the fee is ~£50 so spend £2500 through yours + spouse card and membership is free.

ck - i thought there was a Costco in Lincoln, but just checked the Costco website and there is no mention.

Many thanks for the very kind offer, but i think it would be best going to someone else as there doesn't seem to be a branch near me :(

Bought a Dyson DC25 in there for £218 the other weekend. Over £300 in Currys.

Thats paid for the next few years membership in one purchase.

Anyone know if it is possible to see what costco has and at what prices? their website doesn't seem to be of much use and I know they sell some electronics so would be nice to know what their prices are on some stuff which would save me the journey of seeing if they have what I want.

If u have a normal membership can u get an executive one, or is that for businesses?

for people who buy meat from there and freeze it, what do u put it in?

i bought a big pack of chicken thighs and have wrapped them in cling film then foil.
I use Zip-Loc Freezer bags. Buy them at Costco also in bulk. :) It is nice being able to break the meat up into single meal portions, then just grab a bag out of the freezer when you need it. Water-tight so you can defrost in the sink, or microwave safe.

Unfortunately their UK website is terrible for that kind of information. I don't know if you could ring up a store and ask for a price though, or if the only way is to pop in.

Bsoltan, their TV's are usually good value and IIRC come with a 5yr warranty?

I'd love a Costco membership, but a student so don't qualify. ¬_¬

Yup, I got a Panasonic 50" G20B for £599.99 a month or so back with a 5 year guarantee. Costco are rarely beaten on electrical stuff, and the warranty is second to none, you just take it back and there's no quibble at all.

The one in East London is infested with rats, we saw a bunch of them claimbing all over the food one evening. Not going back there again!
