Just under two years ago we had a small Supercell thunderstorm over where i live in Castleford, complete with wall cloud thunder, lightning and hail, now the hail for most part was only the normal size you get over here, but for about 5 or 10 seconds some mega sized hail fell aswell, aleast the size of a golfball.

edit:: forget to mention there was the near formation of a tornado aswell, luckily it didnt touch down as it was bang over the top of residentail areas

Those are fairly small in comparison to the Hailstorm we had when I lived in Edmonton those are about ping pong ball sized but the edmonton storm they were about the size of tennis balls.

Whole car lots of new cars were basically destroyed.
100s on millions of dollars in damage and a whole range of injuries and even deaths caused by people getting struck by them

Amazing. It all totally missed us - a couple of rumbles of thunder and that was it. Pretty much the whole Midwest was under tornado or severe storm watch apart from one thin little band - and I live smack bang in that band :p
