I've not long received it and have installed it a long with a new mobo and ram, just wanting to know what I should do before installing windows?

I've seen a couple of other threads but just wanting some advice on what to do and whether its okay just to install windows straight away.

Thanks :)

Check in the bios that your sata ports are set to AHCI mode, not IDE, before you start the windows install. Other than that you should be good to go :)

What I do on a fresh SSD install

1.Make sure AHCI is enabled. If you install on IDE/SATA then you can do a regedit then reboot and it installs the drivers.
2.Disable disk defrag
3.Disable pre/superfetch
4.Disable windows search.
5.Make my paging file a little smaller.
6.Delete and disable hibernate
7.Disable system restore
8.I sometimes move my TEMP files to my storage drive
