I saw this last night and completely agree with your comments. Although it only dawned on me towards the end of the film that Browning is the girl from A Series of Unfortunate Events. Wow.

Mind you there's only a 4 year age gap between us, she's not as young as I first thought.

Yeah 22, thought she was a lot younger than that!

I also didn't realise that she played Billy Connolly's daughter in The Man Who Sued God.

saw it today, and was different from what I expected, but that to me made it better.

Soundtrack is amazing, and should make a good transfer to HD-audio (if it's not played with to much)

CGI is again amazing

Watch this tonight. Not really knowing anything about it I really enjoyed it.

Interesting concept and reminded me a little of inception in the way we have fantasy world within a fantasy world but excellent none the less.

Loved the soundtrack and the fight sequences were amazing.

Can't wait for a blu ray release so I can watch this again.

Just got back from seeing it and to be honest, I have to agree, it was a very enjoyable film, with a good concept, stunning visuals and excellent soundtrack. Zack Snyder might not be the worlds greats script writer but he has a very distinctive style...

Saw it the other week. I thought the premise and style was brilliant but defo thought it could have been improved by a bit more believable acting on the girls part.

Personally id say 6.5/10. Not fantastic but not bad either.

One of his most notable things is that he uses slow motion in action scenes in contract to most directors who just whack their cameras on 60FPS and just go nuts with cuts and close up. Guy certainly done well for himself, almost hard to believe that he didn't start directing until 2004 with Dawn of the Dead and only 2007 is when he started using his distinctive style.

I saw this at the BFI Imax (Waterloo) the other week, and absolutely loved it.

I loved the plot (yes there was one) and found myself later that evening thinking about the version of events we saw and relating that to "reality". The girls were great, particuarly as I've been a bit of a fan of Browning since Lemony Snicket's ASoUE. The graphics as usual were second to none, and the use of audio/music/slow mo to create the mood gets better and better.

Speaking of music - what a soundtrack! Esp as the sound system in the BFI Imax is extremely capable and was really allowed to shine.

I have very much enjoyed everything Snyder/Legendary Pictures have come out with in recent years. 300 and Watchmen were both superb as well, in a beautiful, not-too-deep way.

I went with two guy friends, and the smiles on our faces from start to finish said it all. 9/10

In response to SkeeterUK regarding her dancing, I've read that they intended to include dance scenes but ran out of time in post production. Snyder says the scenes will be finished in time for the Bluray.

Personally I would prefer them to be left out - a little mystery in such an in-your-face film would be a good thing. Also, in the story her dances are meant to completely mesmerise the watcher, but I can't imagine any real dancing slotting in to the relevant gaps in the movie without looking a bit cringe when they all are left open mouthed.

Just got back from seeing it, possibly the worst film I have ever seen! Awful.

2 people walked out half way through, and that left 6 people in.

I agree with the not showing the dancing improves the film, best to leave some things to the imagination.

Saw this last night at the cinema, was very good. Knew that it had terrible reviews but I went in not really expecting anything. I wasn't disappointed!
Great soundtrack as well.
