I bought it twice for 30p. Why because that's all I have spare to my name at the moment until payday. I'm having to borrow money daily at the moment. I'd happily part with more once I've been paid.

But you're not boasting about it on the forum, like you're proud to pay a pittance for the games and costing the charity money.

Nothing wrong with paying 1p, I would not have bought the games if they weren't in this bundle. And neither would a lot of people it seems, because if you'd bought them already you would likely not be buying the bundle.

This one is a bit of a sham anyway, it's just one dev throwing some of their naff (and not so naff) games into a pack and selling it as a bundle to make a killing, unlike the others which were a mix of developers.

If paying 1p actually costs them they should set a 10p minimum price or just allow you to put in 0.

yeh nothing wrong with paying 1p

it's just removing money that would have otherwise gone to a childrens charity and pff.....like that matters anyway eh?

Trine alone is worth paying 5 quid, but thats besides the point.

It's not, paypal fees will come out the bit marked as "Humble Bundle Inc" which is its own section. "Humble Tip" it's called.

Note, the humble tip goes to Humble Bundle, Inc. itself, which pays for the bandwidth and development of this promotion. You determine how much we deserve to earn or lose from your purchase.

I thought paypal waive fees for charities, although it is difficult when it's not actually going to a charity as a certainty. I don't think many people see ChildsPlay as a particularly worthy charity and I think rightly so toys in hospitals is nice but it aint clean water or food or a school. If your donating $1000 then surly there are other charities who wouldn't spend it on a few 3DS.

Let's cancel Cancer Research, RSPCA, NSPCC and such. People like to donate to difference causes, if that is helping a child through a dramatic game and giving them then fun experience you enjoy while playing game then ChildsPlay is the perfect charity for you. I think they are very worth while yes it's not saving lives as some other charity's but it's making a small child hospital experience partial bare able and gives them and outlet which they wouldn't have without ChildsPlay.

As for the paying 1p debate I understand why people do it because they don't really want to part take in charity but want something dirt cheap for themselves which is very very selfish in my opinion. Yes this Humble deal gives money to the developers/humble team and such but you can't expect indie devs to afford hosting/development costs and organising such a deal without trying to recoup some cash. The biggest developers in the world can't even support something like this without some sort of profit it terms of marketing/development.

So good up for the humble team and everyone who has donated $1+ in my eyes :p I only gave $5 as I'm a cheapskate but that gave a $2.50 to charity $1.50 to the devs and $1 tip

Picked this up last night $15 even split.

Shame on you 1p'ers, maybe you want to go rob the charity boxes in your local church as well while your at it ;)

It's for Charity, giving a penny is just bad karma

At least they aren't pirating it. I spent £2 on the first, £1 on the second and 50p on the third. I guess I just don't play them enough to justify paying much more. I haven't even loaded any of the first games besides world of goo and cortex command (which still isn't on steam..)

I bought it again even though I have all the games bar the unreleased ones - quite happy to give a small donation to charity that revolves around one of my hobbies that I derive so much pleasure from. And I know a few here would be in the same situation, but happy to put their hands in their pockets too...

I guess you just dont believe in charity...

Pirating it would actually have saved the charity money rather than giving 1p - even pirates are better than these 1pers...
