Do you tidy your rubbish at KFC/McD's/BK?

What amazes me is the state of the car parks very late on at the all night ones due to ***** chavs dumping stuff out of their car doors

There are few things I hate more than the masses of chavs that gather in the McDonalds car parks at night.

Its the same at Tesco here too, and then they proceed to do 40mph past the entrance to the shop in their crappy old P reg Micra, what if someone walks out? Idiots.

I made a thread about it on here ages ago actually, and was told to 'get some friends' by the Motors chimp brigade.

On my next visit, due to the pressure here im going to empty my tray, and see if it improves my already sunny disposition and those of the McDonalds workers around me!

Trust me, you'll feel good....

...until you digest the burger you've just eaten :/

Back on topic please guys. This isn't the place to discuss it.

If you have a problem with anything please discuss it with a mod off the forums.

I just tried to mail you at the address in your sig. Got a bounceback?

Sounds to me like you weren't loving it!

They don't do that at KFC :p

Off topic, but can the mod team PLEASE reiterate to NathWraith that he can't ban people for disagreeing with him (and no, what Lysander said wasn't a bad personal attack, it wasn't even an attack at all)? I've seen this happen quite a few times now, and it seems like the other mods ignore it. I'm seriously not having a go, I'm expressing a concern and believe that there needs to be more transparency to the moderation on this board. It may not be the time and place to say, but I suspect I'll just be ignored again if I emailed a mod.

Don’t get me wrong, McDonalds would prefer you to clean your table, but that does not mean you are obliged to as a condition of entry, and although you could do it yourself, you should not feel guilty if you do not.

b) I'm not familiar with that place. Do you get washable dishes/cutlery? If yes then it's the role of the staff to pick it up. If it's cardboard/wrappers then you could/should do it yourself.

Nope everything is disposable, yet you are not expected to dispose of things yourself.
There are a lot of things which people could/should do, but choose not to.
For example giving up your seat to a pregnant or old person on the train, you should and could give up your seat, but you not doing anything (albeit morally) wrong.

Ditto Parent and child parking spaces, there are some people who would argue that they have no qualms in parking in a parent and child spot, on the basis that why should they be inconvenienced just because someone else chose to have kids.

It all depends on how you feel about paying a premium for what you are getting. If you are, there is some justification on expecting a better service, if not - as is the case with fast food - you are expected to do your bit as long as it's not a chore. And it's not a chore is it?

You are paying a premium, relativity speaking. Considering what you get, McDonalds is not a cheap, only society expects you to "do your bit", I have yet to see anything from McDonalds asking you to dispose of things in the bin.

It might not be a chore, but it can be an inconvenience, which is not what fast food is about. Given that it is fast food, why should you be slowed down by disposing of your tray.

You will find that Nando's has a service charge for large parties and most staff do expect a tip.

No they don’t, you pay individually at the till.

I have to point it is unlikely you'll find many British workers in fast food outlets (in my experience)..

Evidence?

Instead of thinking of the faceless corporation behind the plastic smiles behind the counter, think of the next people after you.

I don't want to deal with other people's rubbish, and therefore don't impose mine on others either.

It is simply polite.

But lifes just not like that is it, there are lots of things i dont like but put up with.

Who clears away at macdonalds but leaves their glass on the table in a pub?

Seems everybody I know leaves their glass on the table even if they have to walk past the bar to leave.

Life isn't like what?

Like you not wanting to deal with other peoples rubbish, suck it up mate.

It gets on my nerves when some silly **** wants to drive an inch off my back bumper too, but i cant do anything about that either.

Its a wrapper on a table in a McDonalds, throw it in a bin yourself if you feel so strongly, or ignore it, or call someone over to move it for you, or sit at another table or **** it go the whole hog and have your happy meal to go.

Really ??

So we should only do things which are hard coded 'conditions of entry'

And we blame labour for a PC world and breakdown of common sense..

Most people seem to do it, so yes, life is like that in this instance :)

tip rubbish into the bin, set tray on top of bin. Generally how it works.
Anyone who can't do this should be injected with some form of illness, or be forced to all go to the same fast food place where they have to wade through all the rubbish that has been left behind to get to the counter.

Its barely 10 seconds of movement and is normally on the way out.
