Kids and footballs in the street

It would annoy the he'll out of me too. Don't understand people's attitudes with "it's only a ball" etc. It's still damage to your own personal property.

How did you approach them the first time. Come down to their level, kick the ball around with em for a bit.. ask em if they dont mind keeping away from your car, tell em how much pride you have in your car etc.

Most kids can easily learn to not **** you off

If he's no good at football, that plan could easily backfire though.

LOL, do that round here and your car will be wrecked by the time you wake up in the morning.

Challenge them at their own game, if you win they have to play kirby somewhere else, if you lose then can carry on.

we used to get told off about this when we were young and we really didn't care, but obviously now that i'm older and own a car i can appreciate why they were angry

Got a few kids playing football outside the house just now, have been on and off all week and a few times i've noticed the ball hitting my car. Told them a few times not to play outside the house but they don't seem that bothered.

What would you do?

Move the car.

Let the kids play, when I was a kid we always played in the street. Too many people stopping kids from being kids and then they wonder when they start playing havoc and causing trouble.
