Thinking about a BMW 7 series

Yea 7g tronic or whatever its called.

I know where this is going you want this after the summer dont you :)

Nope:) you said about hating your wheels, i'll need to mull it over but i might want to swap if you are still after some standard 18" ones.

Im not bothered really now, but i'l do it if you want them.

No i paid about 20k and sold it for 19k i think, i cant even remember now to be honest, go and have a look at one because it was the dash that put me off in the end, i think Jags just look better with wood.

Another thing i would say as well is dont get hung up on having an XJR a normal 4.2 is 90% as good 90% of the time. Just buy the best car for the money you are spending.

Ok I know this is a crap advert however I spoke to the seller and it all sounds ok.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2007-BMW-750I...mobiles_UK&hash=item27bac60c80#ht_1075wt_1086

The seller says he will get any a couple of stone chips fixed and the alloys refurbed.

So any thoughts on the car?

I was thinking of offering around 15k which well leave me a couple of grand so I may sell the mondeo and get a Volvo V50 for moving stuff around and as a general family pool car.

I would pass on that one.
It's an SE which means nasty chrome and a horrid steering wheel. Get a Sport if you can.
It has the stock seats which are the worst of the 3 seats you can get (Stock, Sports, Comfort).
The rear entertainment package, while nice, prevents you from getting the BMW iPod interface.
This example appears to have EDC (Electronic Damper Control). It's a bit of a weak spot on the E65 sometimes. I would prefer a car without it.
