Another let down

You asked, then they found, they asked the guy to sell it to them, he said ok, dealer took your deposit to make sure your commited, seller changes his mind.

Not the dealers fault is it? I mean if you hadn't asked them to find you one then they wouldnt have went looking and certainly wouldn't have bought it from the seller without some sort of financial commitment from yourself.

A lot of the used stock at Bentley dealers is now on Sale or Return because these things can take some shifting and this way they can protect themselves against depreciation.

It's not the end of the world and I certainly wouldn't fall out with the dealer over it as they know you want one and they will sell you one when it comes about, where as if you go in tomorrow and blow your lid, they're not going to ever want sell you a car anyway.

Well that you not me, when im spending 100k i want 100k service, when im buying a ****ter for 2k they can do what they want.

Plenty more Bentley dealers that lot are not getting another 2p of my custom.

And see after tomorrow? I hope they ban me from the showroom because after im done they wont have any customers left in the showroom, which as far as im concerned is all good.

DM,

Maybe the AA can help you out?

Enjoy embarrassing yourself tomorrow...what's the plan? Go in, scream blue murder....then dealer summons a car out of mid air?

No. Go in. Scream blue murder, get a false apology. Go to internet and rage.

It's not their fault. Relax.

ouch !

:D

Thing with dealers is, there are more customers out there than dealers.

So unless you've been buying cars from them for years, they don't need you as much as you need them.

I've seen customers come in and make a show and look like complete ****holes, other customers just tut at them and let them get on with it.

Who wants to watch a grown up make a tit of themselves when they are waiting for their car to be serviced?

Are they in a position to be that picky with their clients? :p

Bentley dealers can be picky as they want, new car allocations are well sold out before actual allocation.

Used cars are still in good demand, so the loss of one sale isn't going to turn them into manic depressives.

I guess it depends on how well Mark can go rambo

If he gets a response along the lines of "We'll give you a call when something suitable arrives" - Hasn't tried hard enough.
Carted away in a meat wagon - Too far.
Bringing someone to the verge of tears - Just right.

Maz iv bought and sold more cars than you have hot dinners and you dont know what you are talking about, losing customers like me is the last thing they can afford to do.
Your right one car dont matter, but i buy another every 6 months i will also be buying a Mulsanne next year, i also know another dozen people that buy these cars dont confuse me with a focus buyer.

So will you be looking for him to turn up and decide that is a good time to take a tea break to watch the brown storm? :D

Yeah I don't know what I'm talking about, by not selling you a car through no fault of their own they're gonna go bust.

I'm sure you know a dozen Bentley buyers, I never said you didn't.

I've sold £100k + cars before, most of the people who buy these cars are not the unreasonable type.

And a dealer of a brand who are in good demand aren't going to bend over backwards to please unreasonable folk.

Different place im going to Barclay square for my super moan :)

Ah :(

As for if it is right for them to take your money for a car they haven't bought... I would say yes but ONLY if they told you the score up front.

Just taking the deposit and leaving you waiting for a car that you thought was a done deal to turn up surely can't be right by any stretch of the imagination.
