Potentially ridiculous PFA list again

Gareth Bale (LW)- 26 games, 7 goals, 1 assist. Dirk Kuyt (RW)- 28 games, 10 goals, 5 assists.

Puts it in perspective a little.

Nani - 28 games, 9 goals, 18 assists.

Puts it into perspective a lot!

Oooh! oooh! I like this game. :p

Andrei Arshavin - 31 games, 6 goals, 11 assists.

Oooh Oooh I love this game as well!!

Leighton Baines - 33 games, 4 goals, 11 assists.

Oh and he's a defender. :p

Quite surprised that people disagree with Wilshere getting the award, he's been top class all season, had about 2 average games all year, the rest he's been more or less Arsenal's best performer.

Edit - I've just looked and it's only the Man Utd fans, no surprises then :p

For good reason....

Hernandez - 22 appearances, 11 goals, 1 assist.
Wilshere - 29 appearances, 1 goal, 3 assists.

Is this some kind of unfunny joke?

Comparing a deep lying midfielder to a striker on goals and assists?

Where's the comparison on passes completed? Tackles completed?

Where's the stat on which player has forced his way into the first team and been integral to their team this season and which player is a bit part player?

I'd argue Hernandez has done that for Man Utd, as he's started some pretty high profile games. All I was saying was that his appearance to goal ratio is fantastic, which to me should have given him a shout at Young Player of the Year. He's also scored some unbelievably important goals, and there aren't any stats for that either sadly.

I have not seen Wilshire step up in any of the big games Arsenal have played in this season.

Was he not part of the side that lost miserably at OT where United had to field the awesome midfield of Rafeal, O'**** , Gibson and Fabio?

Yes, I think he was.

What did he do?

**** all.

At the end of the day I'm sure Hernandez would rather pick up a PL medal than an award picked by thick footballers from around the country.

Yep, sounds like Hernandez has done the things good strikers do and Wilshere has done the things good midfielders do, it may be a surprise but a lot of what Wilshere does is also hard to quantify in stat form. Hernandez probably did have a shout, but I'd say (any I think a lot would agree) that Hernandez wasn't the obvious choice

Ah, the age old tradition of Man Utd fans, if he didn't play well vs us then he can't be good as nobody is as important as us

But you Man Utd fans have obviously nailed it. Wilshere is average at best. You guys know it all!

Viva Hernandez, world class already I'd say, what a player!! He plays for Man Utd!!!!
