Gears of War 3 Dated (Official blah blah)

This out properly now via Bulletstorm? I won't be able to get on it until I get back from work :(

I get destroyed in GoW anyway so I'm already used to that feature of the game :p Do the weapons seem better balanced in it?
 
Just downloading now,

Yes today it starts for Bullet Storm Epic edition owner then next Monday 25th its for people who pre-order from GAME or Gamestation, until the end of May :)

It began on Friday to people who managed to blag a code, so where 3 days behind everyone else !

Time to catch up :D

I hope so, I loved the first online and would have made the 2nd my game of choice, but for the lag. I think I played the first one more than any COD game so far.

I even enjoyed the practice against the Bots. Or 1v1 against a friend with bots.

Not interested in the Beta tbh, wasted ranking up time imo ;)

There's no way I will touch this years Cod so it had better be good.

GoW2 has been completely fixed (and amazingly awesome) for 6 months or so now.
If GoW3 is as good as 2 is now (ill find out tonight..) ill be happy ;)

Your right though there is sod all to play. I have actually fully completed PvZ on the iphone rather than turn on the xbox.

GRAW and Gears this year, surely one of the won't suck.
 
It's cack, the shotgun is still just as retarded as always and the lancer is a peashooter, the retro one is even more so.

Don't get me started on the host advantage. Rolly polly shotgun, yawn. Same old crap.

Ghost Recon has sucked since 2 - when they gave the option of using third person. (iirc it's actually forced in GRAW)

Third person destroys it because people just camp around corners and use the camera angle. It's the same in any game with third person typically.
 
Beta's great !

Well worth buying Bullet storm now ! £20 for bullet storm & £20 for beta, i'm happy !

Looking forward to more maps being released !

Its nothing like that at all, over 80% of my kills are with the lancer ..

It never got why after gears 1 they didn't make the lancer drop people like say an assualt rifle on COD hardcore. To stop so much shot gunning.

I thought gears 3 was going to be dedicated servers?

I loved Graw 1 and 2 despite the 3rd person and never had any issues with people camping corners.

Dedicated server has been disabled this afternoon, no idea why .. tuning? perhaps.

And the lancer does drop people? If your in CQ break out the shotty obviously, but i tend not to be in CQ too often and by being alert take out a lot of people before they get close.
Someone charging you down will be downed within 3 seconds with the lancer, more then balanced enough.

Hammerburst is even easier in this version.
