The West Canyon is located in the Grand Canyon national park but not really seen as being part of the Grand Canyon to people outside of the tourist industry

I remember going to the Grand Canyon with my parents in the mid 90's (where the sky walk is now located) that part of the Canyon was very Arid.

In 2009 I went to the South Rim and it was sooo different (a mixture of alpine and desert) and in my opinion a lot more impressive, I'd love to go back as we only stayed there very briefly.
 
Yeah I drove to the South Rim, hell of a drive but very enjoyable!

The Gun Store was very busy on both days that we went.
First time was on a Wednesday at about 11am, a lot of queues at the front desk and a big line for the public range, we paid the $50 each extra and were taken through by an extreamly cute girl with no wait.

Went back on the Saturday, and as it was just me shooting I went on the public range, had to wait in a queue for a little over an hour.

Id say if you have the money and there is a group of you, its a lot easier to take videos/pictures in the semi private range, next time we go (for my 30th) we are going to go for the mega VIP package which is about $700-$800, but with that you get the VIP range, 7 auto's all with 70 rds, 7 semi autos all with 20 rounds and 7 pistols all with 20 rounds.

I just wish I had more money! As I would have gladly shot all of it down the range :D
 
No! It was EPIC :D

I went downtown aswell and was very impressed!

All down the street the celing was a video screen playing a kiss video! :D
 
Glad you had a good time! Only 139 days for me to wait haha. I also plan to do one of the Strat rides! Insanity, the swings. Wanted to do it last year...Chickened out! :D
 
Yeah Id love to have ranges like that in this country!

I wouldnt like gun ownership tho... I think If I owned guns at one point I would have had an argument with someone while drunk and shot something... :S

But I just wish we were able to go down a firing range like that and shoot guns, it was soo much fun :)

The gun range is quality. Thankfully when i went there was only two other people waiting when i got there. so things were pretty swift to get some shooting done.
 
There are other options than the Gun Store. We went in there the first time but they molly coddle you too much as well as being pretty pricey.

If you go to a less touristy one. For example American Shooters, they will demonstrate the weapon, hand it to you with however much ammo you purchased and let you get on with loading it and shooting it yourself.

I have enjoyed far more every shooting range we have been in more than the Gun Store.

God damn, this happened in the last thread as well, how many people do these guys dupe and how are they getting away with it so well?
 
Ill get some uploaded when I get home, at work atm, got some pretty sweet vids of the gun store and a load of pics from Vegas :)

Personally I went to the South Rim (by car) but the West Rim is a lot closer to Vegas and also has the sky walk.

But yes it is apparently rip-off central!
