EA Store - Easter Sale 50% off

Bought Shift 2 - i'd been debating it at full price but was really waiting for it to hit bb prices - this was perfect. The game is soo much better than I was expecting.

Very tempted for Shift 2 but a little concerned that I might lose access to it if I upgrade my PC specs (which I'm prone to do!)

Also, what sort of specs are needed for Crysis 2?? (mine in sig) - Worth getting?? (single player mostly - I'm not a good MP FPS'er!

How is the Sims 3? Should I buy it or will I get bored after a day?

I play it occasionally - it is fun enough, but there are probably more worthwhile games out there. My gf plays it mostly - she has nearly finished her degree, so I figured these would complete the set and keep her occupied when it finishes. Crysis 2 worked out at only £7 extra :D (thanks to whoever posted the £10 off code too).

One of the few times I have bought stuff that was not part of a Steam sale :p

Bought Shift 2 and Dead Space 2 for £25, not bad at all.

Does the EA Download Manager download the latest version of the game or will I have to patch them up? Also does it patch games for me when they are released?

Cheers.

I think the games patch once received.

To get it for £12.50 you either used a £5 voucher or bout 2 £17.50 games then used the £10 voucher. For £8.32 the total before £10 code would be £26.64 my 10% off for closing basket doesn't work with the £10 voucher maybe Asgards did. Thats how I'd see it if I got 2 games the same for each because its easier than dividing by %.

Still doesnt add up.

Crysis 2 is £17.49 atm.

You can get £10 off if you use the promotion code when spending over £25.

You can use Cokezone points to get a £5 or a £10 voucher when you spend over £15 or £25 accordingly.

You can get 10% off the final price by quitting the basket.

So (£17.49-£5)*0.9= doesn't add up

But for £11.24 it's a good price :p

I guess he paid for something else too.

yeh, must have.

I was trying all sorts of things with the basket and different vouchers but eventually got fed up fannying about and bought it for £12.50 with a cokezone voucher.

Really tempted by Bulletstorm and NFS shift 2 though as well....must...resist.

The thing is the most it'll give me off the basket is £10 and then it refuses to give me 10% off on top.

Clear your cookies or try a different browser. Do the basket thing first, then put the codes in. Makes sure to have an order worth more than £25 (so not £24.98 or something like that).

I know I want Shift 2.

I'm also tempted by Dragon Age: Origins but I doubt I'll find time for it (plus it's most likely to be one of the discounted games on the next Steam Sale).

I don't fancy playing Dragon Age 2 at all, heard horrible things about it. I would like to have Mass Effect 2 though.

Will probably order Shift 2, Mass Effect and Dead Space. If every voucher I have works, I should probably get them for £11.25 in a pack.

The Sims 3 sounds like a fun game but then every game I've played from the series has a lifespan of a few hours at most for me. Plus the horrible expansion packs that milk $$$ for EA put me off.

Anyone has another suggestion to that lot? I prefer to have games on Steam but it's hard not to use this offer whilst it lasts.

I'm not getting any pop up about 10% off either, I used the bulletstorm £10 off but for some reason when I press 'Continue Shopping' there's nothing appearing, odd.
