Can we have a sub-forum for religious discussion please?

Can't such an idea just be merged with SC and renamed to something like "The debating arena" etc? I just can't really see it being that well used for a sub forum to be fair so at least merging it with SC would get more moneys worth long term.
 
Going towards catchy and religious-based, how about The Vestry? That's a vicar's waiting/meeting area right? Vestry immediately conveys religious context?

If it should have anything to do with religion in the title it shouldn't be taken from just one of them so not to offend members from other religions or show "favour" to one particular one as a public forum.

Due to this, if a separate area is to be made, the title for it should be extremely generic to avoid potential alienation and prejudgement.

I don't think that it should be a purely religious sub forum, it should include all kinds of areas such as theology, philosophy, spirituality and serious discussion on things like ESP, The mysteries of the World (like the Bermuda triangle for example). I think the title should convey that.

I guess, though it's a fairly generic term really and almost any such room could be termed a Vestry in English language regardless of the religion involved.

Going more generic, how about Mind & Spirit (or Soul)?

I don't know about you lot but that isn't something I want to think of each time I visit the OcUK forums.

Oh I quite agree regarding the content, 100%. Half the reason such a sub-forum was requested in the first place was to allow a place for such expansion of topic subjects to occur. :)

Without simply calling it "Spiritual/Religious/Philosophical/Paranormal/Other stuff" it's hard to find something without giving it a fair bit more thought. I'm sure we'll come up with something between us. :)
