I think a leatt is the way to go, I'd ride with one all the time if I had one and didn't have to wear a full face

weescott: tubeless allows you to run lower pressures, but burping is a problem pros have with it, given that they hit corners harder than anyone else. For us normos it's not a problem.

That's not what I have found for AM riding. I run about 32psi front and back with UST tyres/rims. With the MK UST I found the front tyre would walk if hitting corners hard at low (c25) PSI. With the NN I found I could run silly low PSI ( < 20) though I choose not to. Too low a PSI + rocks = ripped tyres! I guess it's about experimenting to see what combo works for you.![]()

I dont want new pads or discs, what can I do to sort the problem out?
Sand paper? Alcohol?
Surley the only option isnt new pads and discs?

Single ply or dual ply tyres?

Normal people might use a gas hob.Another fantastic day to be out riding myself, Kona* and Matt_Fsr went and hit it up at Dalby

Yep alcohol wipe then give them a rub on some sandpaper.
I use gardening propane gas flame thrower on the pads and Rotors. Works a treat.Normal people might use a gas hob.
They are both Single Ply tyres. The NN has a much thicker side wall though.
As I thought, Thanks.
By the way, what Shorts do you ride in? I need some new ones and like the yellow / gold.
Ill give that ago aswell. Thanks
There ya go - even if the NN is thicklier its still only singly ply.

That is Kona* in the Yellowy/Orange shorts and top, I think they are made by Oakley.
