Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword

What a weird looking game. I'm tempted though but what is the gameplay like?

Get Warband on Steam, should be able to pick it up fairly quickly. The combat will have you frustrated as hell at the start - you'll probably spend a lot of time getting wiped out by random bandits - but once you get to grips with it, it's an absolute gem. Incredibly addictive game.

Looking at some youtube reviews and it looks great. I'm definitely interested, but at £20, it's a tad bit expensive for me. I'm sure though that I could get countless hours of fun out of it.

£20? That's really steep - check some online e-tailers, you can probably pick it up for a fiver somewhere.

Bought Mount & Blade: Warband when it was released for £19.99 still playing it a year later, it's always got that play again factor, and I haven't got around to doing any mods yet.

Not that impressed with Fire & Sword not enough difference, won't be buying it.

The designers should include building a village>> Town >> City and introduce things that you would see in Age of Empires in terms of building etc, keep the 3D aspect.

Also change blocking so its more head, body, legs so theirs even more skill involved, would make a cool online mmorpg if it could be expanded to cater for it.

M&B Warband is essentially the same game as the original but with a added multiplayer element.

So you only need warband.
