The Koran - Whos Read It?

Do I really have to do your homework for you? ;) You don't need to be interested, or read about anything. I was simply pointing out that you're posting to lol at how fictional religions all are, while demonstrating that your understanding of those religions is actually very small (to the point of non-existant in the case of pantheism). Just pointing out the irony; generally it's foolish to disparage things you don't even know anything about.

To put it in a direct horizontal line

I asked a question, you did not answer it.

I was reading the Koran the other day and I was overwhelmed with a sense a sheer dread of fear of God and the wrath he will unleash upon the earth but at the same time overjoyed and perfectly at ease that a revelation had been sent giving pure guidance on how to be liberated and saved.

And from your response I assume you'r a muslim right? Have you ever read the bible and if so how did you find it? I don't see any scriptual conflict as mohammad says i've come to neither add nor take from the prophets that came before me.

Yes I am Muslim.

I haven't read the bible in full, have read some parts. Old and New Testaments, I can't really say much further as I don't have the knowledge to do so, and if I did I'd only be making false judgement.

I would suggest reading some learning materials on how to write so people understand what you're trying to say before reading what God is trying to get you to understand on what he's had written first!

For example in the koran (and the torah) where it talks about slaying non-believers and the like. The non-believers are there multitude of negative aspects in our psyche that will tempt us away from god and into idle worship like lust for money, sex, drugs and all other meaningless worldy pleasures. It's these that are meant to be slayed first and foremost.

This kind of stuff that disgusts me when it comes to religion.I could never kill another human being whether a Jew, Muslim or christian or atheist.
I tried to read the bible when i was younger but the more i read the sillier it sounded, i really wanted to believe in God but there was way too many contradictions. It says to treat others with respect and to lead peaceful lives and then it talks about killing and gauging eyes out.
I can understand why The Muslim World hates the west though, alcohol, drugs, Greed, selfishness is rife especially in Britain. Our Morals drop to a new low every few years.

I would suggest addressing the person or persons whom you are responding to, otherwise you, old chap, are plain old confusing! ;)

I was too busy laughing. :p There are many religions which don't accept a single creator God, especially not one in the Abrahamic sense. In fact it's probably true to say that more don't than do. Paganism, Buddhism, Shinto and (depending on how you look at it) Hinduism and Taoism for starters.

Why is it acceptable to enjoy and read the conversation between lucfier and god which cannot ever be proven but it is banned to discuss or "enjoy" as you put it the equivalent "lucifer and god" in some countries today?

I'm not sure i even understand the question in all honesty, I liked it because i was like i was a fly on the wall finding out what really happened that day when God and lucifer parted ways (actually according to the Koran lucifer left on his own accord and wasn't thrown out, he knew he had to leave as he knew he would have been forced out anyway)

But way would any discussion be banned? discuss away matey!

In explanation for you, a direct horizontal line is a metaphor for non-deviation from my point, I ignored your contraband and outlined my point - god.

All religeons agree on god, a kreator of sorts,

That's it.

No they don't. I outlined just a few of them above for you. That's why I suggested you do some reading before coming to erroneous conclusions and making unsubstantiated dismissals.

My point is, lucifer in a book as opposed to lucifer on earth.

What is the difference?

The difference is fact, it happened, it is therefore banned because it cannot ever happen again but its completely acceptable for the devil to come back to earth.

Blast, I thought multiquote was clicked. I was responding to the Op of course although that should have been obvious even without the quote :p

I didn't read any reply after the Op because I am 100% certain of what the replies are and that they're exactly the same as the replies in every religious thread on OcUK ever.

No they do not.

Many do not have a creator God, some don't have a God at all.

Is English your first language, 101001101? I'm not being rude, I just don't want you to be unjustifiably roasted by GD. "Horizontal line..." "I ignored your contraband"...

:( Sorry mate I'm really not understanding you!! Are you saying Lucifer is banned from heaven and can never come back? Well yes of course! He turned his back on god! There's no coming back from that for an Angel, he seems to give a heck of a less leeway to his angels then to us humans. It's clear he puts in much higher regards then he does he angels as when he created man he commanded angels to bow to us.

Your not being rude at all mate, you can say what you like its all good

Which religions (note the spelling correction!) do not have creators or gods?

Yes I can spell and yes my grammar is a fortress.

I gave you a list of some of them earlier, and referred you back to that list in a later post.
