STS-134 Shuttle Mission to the International Space Station Launches Monday 16th @ 13:56 BST

Scrub incoming. Auxiliary Power Unit Heater issue. That's a no-go for flight as it reduces redundancy. :(

So I won't even see the launch then. :(

Next attempt - NET Sunday.

Two of the heaters appear to have failed on Endeavour's Auxiliary Power Unit No. 1 The APUs provide the hydraulic power to drive the ship's aerosurfaces, deploy the landing gear and gimbal the main engine nozzles.

Once again:

Mission scrubbed for at least 48 hours. :(

It's less than four hours to launch, so spectators aren't going to like it - transportation is non-refundable. At least the KSC entry and Causeway transportation should be reusable.

damn I hope it fixes soon :( Have they tried the good old fashion banging and thumping technique?

Now No Earlier Than Monday 2nd, 19:33 BST (+/- 5 minutes, as always).

It seems the shuttles really don't want to go on their last missions. STS-133 had trouble, 134 has trouble. 135 - who knows?
