Anyone managed to find a fix for using overdrive when you have multiple monitors? The 2D clocks keep dropping to low and cause flickering.
I tried Afterburner on the 11.3's and assign 2D and 3D profiles, but when in a game menu it kept going to 2D clocks and flickering.

I can't believe this still hasn't been fixed, it's been known about for months! All they need to do is turn the clocks up a bit at idle.
just updated my Crossfired 5870's from 11.2 to 11.3 to stop black flickering in Bad Comapany 2 which it didnt and is still there.
this is the first time ive got jumping clocks while browsing, fan keeps spooling up and down its annoying. as soon as i shut firefox 4 down they go back to low clocks, disabling hardware accel in ff sorts it but then moments later the clocks start going up again. im not playing any videos either

Do you use afterburner, try it with it off. Also fraps or any other fps apps, can also be the cause of flickering with BC2, if you do try switching them off.

It's not a driver issue, it's hardware acceleration kicking in. You can try disabling smooth scrolling, make sure no videos are streamed in the background and if the above doesn't work, try setting a custom fan profile that won't change speed until certain temp.
Or get an aftermarket cooler and keep your temps down by 20*C under load, get higher overclocks and undisrupted silence![]()

ive got a custom fan profile already which i took a while in creating, thing is why did this never ever happen before, only when i install 11.4 it crops up. maybe its because i defaulted settings for the first time in ccc something changed.
it hasnt done it for a while now![]()

No point for a 4870 right
