11.4 WHQL Official

Just downloaded the CoP benchmark, about to run it on 11.3 then 10.4 to see if there's any differences in FPS. Will post results shortly.

Here is my benchmark score using 11.3 drivers:

Now here is my result using 11.4 drivers!:

Bit random results to be honest. 10.4 proved to be abysmal when compared to the new 11.X set drivers.

Ran on the following:

Phenom II X4 945 OC'd to 3.75Ghz (3.0Ghz stock)
XFX 5970 2GB Black Edition @ normal clocks
G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2 x 4GB) @ 8-8-8-24 2N

I only installed the ATi driver so no CCC.

The maximum frame rates went up on the 11.4's but average and min FPS seem to be all over the place though it is only a couple of frames between them. Sticking to 11.4 though, can't be arsed to keep installing different drivers as they seem to take about 5 minutes or so to install!

Just upgraded a 6950 from 11.3 to 11.4 there is no noticeable difference in game play (which is good as at least there is not ill side effects :) ).
I can not recall what my score was with the Heaven benchmark using 11.3 but it does seem a little smoother now with an over all score of 1130 and around 44 FPS average (min is 24 fps, max is 98 fps).

Anyone else done any benches before and after using the beta and officials?

Ignore the ones with lines through, just stuff included for mobility drivers.

Anyone managed to find a fix for using overdrive when you have multiple monitors? The 2D clocks keep dropping to low and cause flickering.

I tried Afterburner on the 11.3's and assign 2D and 3D profiles, but when in a game menu it kept going to 2D clocks and flickering.

Will try these once I get my 6990. As mentioned in other threads, am stuck with 10.4s as anything newer locks up my system when loading Sims 3 or Dead Space - hoping the new graphics card will allow me to install the 11.4s without any problem!

A 6990 to play sims 3...:confused::D

lol, cheeky. My gf is playing that mostly. I am playing Crysis 2 inbetween - probably my most demanding game at the moment.

Edit: Although saying that, even with this system the Sims 3 maxed out chugs along. Has never been smooth on any of my systems - poor coding I guess.

But you don't need the additional performance? Sell it whilst it still holds its value. It will depreciate rapidly by the end of the year.
but im planing not to upgrade the graphics side for atleast 2years+. so what i thought was the additional performance that i don't really need right now, will come in handly in the future?

also i bought a new psu for it.

i have about £200 for 1 other upgrade (motherboard am3+, or cpu or memory or sound card or OCZ Vertex 3 ssd) can't decided.
