I'm the same, I like to have a nose at what peoples playing and at least feel 'remotely' connected to a community in some way, also there are things that I'd like off the store.

Sure, I'm keeping a closer eye than usual on my bank accounts and I keep checking in this thread for more info but I'm more interested to see if we get any free stuff out of it and if they finally upgrade the PSN with some of the services people have been asking for for ages.

If you're reading this Sony - I'll take my pick of the games off of the PS Store please and all is forgiven.

They could offer 3 months free psn+ for the troubles, really hope the hackers are caught though.

yeah would not mind something free even if it was a free service its still caused people a lot of trouble with changing security passwords and cards.

i would prefer they just catch the hackers and bring us a more secure service though!

Considering the original ETA was this Tuesday for it being up, theres chance theyve underestimated the time required, seems weird to have a Sunday news conference/statement especially it being so close to that deadline.

Though on the other hand they may have made enough progress to say it will be up tomorrow?

That's a bit of a daft statement.

The loss of PSN purchases and damage to reputation (and hence reduction in hardware sales) will be quite damaging.
