nothing has changed, there will still be terrorist attacks the world over, there might be a slight increase as every 2 bit organisation crawls out of the wordwork to cobble together an attack, in the name of revenge for OBL's death, just to gain some publicity for what ever cause they happen to be fighting for. but ultimatley, nothing has changed.

If he was just an icon then how is it revenge? He's become an icon, for better or worse. He wasn't originally when all this came about, he was the primary target and the thought that they went over there and kicked his sorry arse would've been something like revenge. Then they couldn't find him and he released videos and they still couldn't find him, then people started to wonder if he was already dead from other causes, then everyone really just forgot about him until the sudden news he'd been killed.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the terrorists started planning something for 9/11 this year.
