911 C2S getting pampered this week and goodies!

What do you mean, mine sits too high at rear?

I just felt in this picture it seemed to sit slightly high at the back.

It seems to have a nose down look to it but that might simply be down to the aero kit amplifying the effect. It's certainly not a problem, just seemed a little more lifted than I seem to remember similar cars looking. Also the GT3 has a different rear end bumper area so tends to flatten out the look a bit and is of course lower anyway.

Having said that, this one looks the same as yours so perhaps it's just me being more familiar with the GT3

Best make friends with the servicing department then, if you get an anal engineer you can get fisted!

plus, OPC warranty is a swear word to me :(!

Restart your warranty then have a claim, or has an OPC already seen the damage?

already registered, then they noticed it had lapsed, I'm a ******* pure and simple. Not the end of the world just another life lesson for me! emptied my garage and shoved it inside so its nice a safe from salty air, got to get a local mate to store my boat now though before that gets eaten to pieces :p

They all look the same at the back, i think its that rear spoiler that makes his look high.

So far all I've done to the car is the 997 airbox mod and BMC panel filter which has given the car a real GT3 howl in the cabin as you approach 7000rpm and made it feel more lively past 5500rpm

I suspect I heard that when you booted it down the High Carr hill last week

Gibbo - what's Chris at CG doing in the way of a geo for £250? I emailed them and was quoted £600, but admittedly that was with corner weights which I'm not sure I need.

I told him what I wanted, which was:-

1. More front end grip, basically dial out the understeer and make car more neutral.
2. Increase overall grip both front and rear.
3. Decrease bump steer and front floatiness over bumps though mine is slight.
4. Give the car a very planted confidence inspiring feeling.
5. Check over all suspension components for wear and tear.

Basically to summarise, dial out the understeer but keep the car feelin planted and confident inspiring without making it twitching or tramlining like crazy.

He seemed confident and I know Chris can already turn a great car into an amazing car. Told him I'm on Pirelli's which he agreed are nowhere near the tyre of the Michelin PS2 in either dry or wet, but he can set car up and then when I do change over tyres it shall just feel the better again.

Ive always found Chris gives extremely fair prices an he loved working on the Mustang, he must have spent a good 12hr plus doing stuff on that car for me and he's always given me good rates, its why anything GEO related I always go too him and recommend him. :)

Always found a good alignment makes a huge difference to a car. Bet you can't wait to push it through some bends on the drive back :)

Hi there

Well what can I say, I've just spend the last hour and half a tank filling the local country lanes with the sound of flat 6. Both windows down, sunroof open, the sound is truly intoxicating, infact the sound is more addictive than that of the Mustang, now I never thought I'd say that. Yes the Mustangs sound had more presence, attracted more attention, but the noise in the cabin with windows up is now very much GT3 especially when approaching 7000rpm, only difference been its time to change up wheras GT3 has another 1000rpm worth of that glorious soundtrack. With the windows down and sunroof open the noise is just so addictive and the sound to the limiter is just wow factor. Yes I've done the PSE unplug mod because its simply so much better.

The PSE in loud mode on the dash sounds great from idle to circa 3500rpm but then things quietin down due to sound regulations though its still better than stock. But with it unplugged that awsome sound remains at all RPM's and just gets more and more intoxicating, so I am leaving it unplugged, sorry neighbours. :D
