Hi all I just want to big up Eddie Kidd & show some respect for his efforts to complete the London marathon.
Here's the web page, Have a browse & show some support.
http://www.eddiekidd.com/

For those that don't know Eddie Kidd was a Bike stunt rider who jumped the Chinese wall etc He was injured in an accident & has brain damage, Despite this he aims to complete the London marathon. Legend or what.

Found this on Wikipedia

On the 17th April 2011 Kidd ditched his wheelchair at the start of the London Marathon and started to walk the rest of the way. On the 21st April 2011 had covered three miles but vowed to finish the race. As of 4th May 2011, Eddie had completed just over 7 miles of the route.

:O
Fair play and good luck to him

See that Eddie Kidd, that's you that is.

Eddie Kidd was a legend when I was growing up, everybody wanted to be him, he looked cool, he was hard as nails and totally fearsome - its a crying shame he never got the acclaim like Evil Knievil did as he was equally as brave and daft.

The man.

I saw him do a show in the 80s and what an event he put on.

He tried to tell Eval Knieval that his bike was too heavy and that is why he crashed so many times but it seemed to be ignored.

He could also drink a pint in seconds standing on his head.

Legend indeed 4T5 and best of luck and good wishes to him.

Watching that vid on his site, just shows you how important a healthy brain is, I remember when he crashed watching it on tv, dont really remember him doing stunts was a bit too young.

When i was a kid he was working for my mum and he took me out as a 5 yr old on his bike. Possibly the coolest thing ever. He managed to break the footpegs off 4 crappy hire bikes for a stunt he was doing for her

Legend.
